About

Peter Venardos (b. May 11, 1995) is an artist that transcends traditional categories. As a lifelong creative, the freedom experienced in the ocean led him to explore a variety of water-related endeavors and creative outlets. Learning to shape under several Southern California board builders as well as an internship at the Deus Temple of Enthusiasm in Bali Indonesia, he now creates equipment that allows the self-expression of distinct lines while surfing. Completely self-taught, he strives to convey the emotions of his experiences both in and out of the water through painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and written word.

Peter’s love for creativity, solitude, and surfing lured him up the west coast to Oregon and on to Alaska where he earned a BA in Outdoor Studies from Alaska Pacific University. He continues to enjoy and is endlessly inspired by his oceanic pursuits, often of the cold water variety. Currently residing on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State with his soulmate, he has embarked on the radical journey of fatherhood. Through his artistic practice and outdoor adventures, Peter aims to be an example for his son on how to live a creative, adventurous, and fulfilling life.
